LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS MANAGER WANTED
Can you juggle with a smile ? Does being part of an awesome squad sound like a thing you can do with right now? We are looking for crew to run our operations team. We’re looking for a point of reference for all the planning, running, behind-the-scenes and handing of all events carried out by JUGS. This next JUGSy will join a team that is as performing, motivated as they are crazily fun ….we're the type that when others go out for lunch we team up for a hike & so much laughter that it can get painful......but hey don’t just rely on what we have to say, ask any one of our team to vouch for us.
DUTIES WILL INVOLVE
- Managing a team of personnel to organise & logistically plan all events of JUGS from beginning to end.
- Assisting event managers & staff in the day to day planning & coordinating of their events; plus researching opportunities for improved modes of practice.
- Coordinating with staff, customers, suppliers & transport companies for preparation of events, conferences & team building activities.
- Contacting extra part time staff if needed, booking & loading of vans, setting up & dismantling of events.
- Keeping timelines met & costs as low as possible.
- Ensuring that all events planned, adhere to company insurance policy as well as national & EU legal, health and safety legislations.
- Assisting in organising facilities for car parking, traffic control, security, paramedics, fire rescue, hospitality and media.
Events can incl; Evening themed nights, weddings, promotions & product launches, concerts & festivals, exhibitions and fairs, conferences and events, fundraising & social events, team building events, games & other fun activities, national races & marathons, DJ events & small band setup.
