About the role:
The Head of Business Development (HBD) is a new pivotal role that will connect revenue-related functions, from sales to pricing, customer relations, business development, and revenue operations.
The HBD will be responsible for every process that generates revenue and will be expected to implement complex solutions with creativity and passion. As part of our day-to-day operations, the HBD will inspire and empower our team by providing guidance, training and mentorship, developing business plans, setting sales targets and goals, creating sales plans, analysing data, and overseeing marketing processes.
With a focus on strategic planning, the HBD will work hand-in-hand with the Chief Operations Officer (COO) to focus on the expansion of customer segments and business partnerships – and ultimately strengthen operations for a leading corporate service provider in the events and expo industry.
Position: Full-Time
Required skills and qualifications:
- Three or more years in diverse leadership and management roles;
- Significant experience driving and implementing revenue growth;
- Experience in making decisions based on business metrics;
- Ability to craft and execute a business strategy effectively;
- Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach.
Preferred skills and qualifications
these are not a must but considered an asset
- Experience in events, hospitality, expo or conference industries;
- Strong understanding of CRM systems;
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or related field.
Job Requirements:
- Able to communicate well in both English and Maltese;
- In possession of a clean driving license;
- Strong IT fluency;
- A clean police conduct.
